Job Summary As a Part Time Service Technician, you will be required to ride in a company provided van to client locations in the Gainesville/Athens area with a lead service technician, perform responsibilities, ensure proper documentation of the work being performed, maintain equipment, respond to client requests, and troubleshoot equipment issues. You should have excellent troubleshooting skills, plenty of field experience, and the ability to adapt to a changing work schedule. A background in any handy man services, pressure washing, or gutter cleaning is a plus. Responsibilities Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches. Meet with the client to greet them and explain the services you will be providing. Ensure the client signs the Terms and Conditions before work begins. Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures. Install and test new equipment. Provide preventive equipment maintenance. Maintain equipment stock in the company vehicle. Complete job reports. Use technology (Camera, Phone, Tablet) as part of all work. NOTE: You will not amend or repair any part of the home/owner's property. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule. Excellent time management skills demonstrating the ability to get work done quickly within a defined timeframe. You are handy and have been working in a maintenance environment. Ability to problem-solve. You are great with people, customer focused, and have strong interpersonal communication skills. Good communication and training skills.
