Remote AI / ML Developer

Insight Global is seeking a remote AI / ML Developer to support a Fortune 100 retail pharmacy company. The AI / ML Developer is responsible for supporting data and insights surrounding the organizations retail store locations.
Responsibilities:- Design machine learning systems.- Research and implement machine learning algorithms and tools.- Manage and direct research and development processes to meet the needs of team's AI strategy.- Develop machine learning applications in alignment with project requirements and business goals.- Perform machine learning tests and statistical analysis to fine-tune the machine learning systems.- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.- Extend existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.- Train systems and retrain, as necessary.- Work with the engineering and leadership teams on the functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, and training of AI/ML solutions.- Advise leaders on technology, strategy, and policy issues related to AI/ML.- Should be comfortable for working in an innovation team.- Attitude and aptitude for learning new technologies and ability for creative thinking.- Work independently in formulating innovative ideas and solutions on products, processes, and systems.
Compensation:
$60/hr to $70/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience- 6+ years of total IT experience, 2+ years of experience specifically working in the AI space- Experience writing robust code in Python (Java and R both a plus)- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as Keras / PyTorch / TensorFlow- 5+ years of strong hands-on, working experience in Elasticsearch, Splunk or any other database (relational or non-relational) that has high volume data- High level understanding of machine learning use cases as it relates to SRE data in Elastic platform or in any other data platform- Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations- Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture- Proven understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures and algorithms
Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Knowledge or working experience in DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Docker and Docker Compose- Linux/UNIX - General understanding of Linux/UNIX environment particularly file system navigation and permissions- Monitoring and Alerting - Ability to configure Kibana Alerts and monitors for both the ELK platform and ingested data
