.Get to Know Your Team:Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital, with 263 licensed beds,

providing

comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care,

radiology

and oncology services.

Responsibilities

Assists surgeons with surgical procedures within the operating room under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to include conveying sterile instruments and supplies used in basic to complex surgical procedures. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalentGraduate of accredited Surgical Technology program or clinical-based program.Anatomy and Physiology, sterile technique, medical terminology; instrumentation and medical equipment knowledge.Six (6) months experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery unitCPRPreferred Job Requirements:Certified OR Tech1 year OR experienceCORT or CST
