Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Summer Intern in our Optical Components Center. Candidates will be placed in a fast paced and exciting work environment where we develop advanced optical manufacturing techniques to support Lockheed Martin's best-in-class products and solutions.

The intern will work alongside our manufacturing engineers to support our production operations and next generation systems development. Scope of work will include collaboration in a dynamic team environment, to solve engineering challenges.

Process engineering scope of focus is to support our deposition and lithography processes through hands on experimentation, technical analysis, and documentation.Basic Qualifications:Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or related STEM field.

Background in/experience with one or more of the following:- Thin film deposition or photolithography- Metrology tools (interferometry, profilometry, CMM, SEM, ellipsometer etc.)Desired Skills:Preferred enrollment in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

Background in/experience with one or more of the following:- Design of Experiments (DOE)- Data collection and analysisClearance Level:
