And we are growing with some new amazing customers Roskam has a full-time Summer 2025 internship opportunities available for individuals currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics / Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Engineering (operational/industrial, applied, mechanical, packaging and chemical or other related engineering degree) or Food Science with a related concentration and interest in a career within the Supply Chain function. The summer internships will be onsite at our facilities in Grand Rapids. Come join the team that is reaching exponential potential by multiplying possibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Contribute to day-to-day Supply Chain management by participating in inventory level monitoring, management of stock control processes, scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of goods, collaborating with customers, and supporting logistics in coordinating shipments. Assist a Supply Chain Leader in managing and integrating complex, cross-functional projects and relationships. Analyze and model Supply Chain material and information flows. Participate in cross-functional team meetings to understand overall business operations. Contribute to special projects by collaborating with teams to gather, analyze, document, and implement Supply Chain solutions, focusing on streamlining processes and reducing costs. Actively identify and propose new supply chain project opportunities. Suggest improvements and best practices for systems, processes, tools, and hardware. Complete a summary project of internship accomplishments and present to a senior leadership team. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering (operational/industrial, applied, mechanical, packaging, chemical or other related engineering discipline), or Food Science with a related concentration and interest in a career within the Supply Chain function. Completed course work in the following areas preferred; Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, Inventory, Data Analysis, Procurement, Project Management, and Business Analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy. Ability to collaborate and interact with all levels and functional areas.
