Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting

Prepare and analyze balance sheet and income statement schedules

Prepare financial statements

Review and verify the accuracy of accounting transactions and records

Review weekly Cash/AR Reconciliations with staff

Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger related to fixed assets and prepaids

Assisting with year-end audits

AP Tasks

Process vendor invoices and payments accurately on a daily basis

Maintain vendor records and assist with vendor inquiries.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare annual 1099s

Record monthly credit card transactions and perform reconciliation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

2-5 years of experience in accounting or related field required

Proficient in AS400accounting software preferred
