Overview

Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company, is currently accepting applications for an HR Intern. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources. Under the guidance of experienced HR professionals, you will support the HR department in recruiting, onboarding, training, and other administrative tasks. This internship offers a dynamic environment where you can develop essential skills and knowledge in HR practices while contributing to the success of our organization.Responsibilities

* Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.* Participate in onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and coordinating training sessions.* Assist in maintaining employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.* Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and diversity initiatives.* Help organize and facilitate employee events, meetings, and training sessions.* Assist with HR administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, updating HR policies and procedures, and managing HR-related documentation.* Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters.* Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as assigned.* Stay updated on HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.Qualifications

* Pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.* Eagerness to learn and develop skills in human resources management.Preferred Qualifications:* Previous internship or work experience in HR or a related field.* Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.* Experience with social media platforms for recruitment purposes.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
