If you're passionate about leveraging your SAP SD expertise to make a real difference, we would love to have you on board JOB SUMMARY The Senior Business Systems Analyst, SAP SD will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solutions to streamline our sales processes and enhance our business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP SD module functionality, EDI standards, and the ability to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and system performance. MUST BE LOCAL TO COPPELL, TX OFFICE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Gathers and analyzes business requirements related to sales and distribution processes, then translates them into functional specifications and system designs Identifies and defines business process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Configures and customizes the SAP SD module to meet business needs and implements new SAP SD functionalities and enhancements Provides ongoing support and maintenance for the SAP SD module Troubleshoots and resolves system issues and performs root cause analysis Designs, implements, and supports EDI interfaces and integrations Ensures seamless communication between SAP and external systems via EDI Monitors EDI transactions and resolve any issues or errors Leads and participates in SAP SD and EDI implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality results Develops project plans, timelines, and deliverables Coordinates with internal teams, external consultants, and vendors as needed Develops and executes test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of SAP SD and EDI solutions Conducts user training sessions and create training materials Provides post-implementation support and user assistance Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures Generate and analyze reports to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement Maintains knowledge of the latest SAP SD and EDI features, best practices, and industry trends Identifies opportunities for system optimization and process enhancement QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP SD modules and EDI in a business systems analyst or similar role Proven experience with SAP SD configuration, implementation, and support Strong understanding of EDI standards and integration Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and shipping Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proficiency in SAP SD customization and reporting tools Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment PREFERRED SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE SAP SD and EDI certifications are a plus Familiarity with industry specific requirements (AFS Highly preferred) Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP SD Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and work in a fast-paced environment Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Sourcing & Distribution, and business stakeholders Attention to detail in documentation, configuration and testing Capability to lead workshops, training sessions, and meetings with stakeholders Understanding of user requirements and ability to deliver solutions that meet business needs COMPETENCIES Deliberative Decision Making - Analysts gather, consider, and evaluate all relevant information to make logical conclusions before being moved to action.
