We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours The Challenge and Opportunity As a member of our Experience Success Engineering team, you are designated to be customer-facing for our strategic clients, driving value realization and return on the client's investment You will work directly with our clients to understand business and technical requirements, improve and maintain web performance including Lighthouse Scores and Core Web Vitals, build long-term relationships, and develop and optimize AEM cloud solutions to delight customers and exceed SLAs. This position includes the following aspects: Strategic client relationship management ESEs are assigned as a web development and performance advisor to customers who are using Adobe Experience Manager and other digital marketing products. ESEs are trusted engineers who promote standard methodologies in AEM development and provide recommendations to help customers improve their core web vitals and performance. We help our clients achieve their business objectives by providing recommended changes and overseeing implementation changes. Duties Include: Discover traffic trends for AEM Managed Services Sites customers by analyzing meaningful data from various sources. Carry out comprehensive technical audits, improve strategies, and make recommendations to optimize crawl-ability, index-ability, and search rankings. Review customer code and identify technical enhancements to enhance performance based on Adobe's suggested approaches and industry standards. Turn your findings into solid hypotheses and show results that will be meaningful. Apply learnings across our customer base. Apply solutions to customer code and measure/document A-B performance Partner with other teams to automate your hypotheses into self-learning software features with the goal of significantly improving website performance, Core Web Vitals, and user experience. Lead customer discussions, presenting clear recommendations that align with business goals, while staying up to date with industry-wide trends and innovations. Communicate consistently with clients throughout the contract lifecycle, calling out relevant issues where needed. At any time, challenge your and our beliefs. Excellent social, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Tenured experience as a front-end developer with Adobe Experience Manager Proficiency in website programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript. Good understanding of key design principles with an emphasis on website performance. Solid grasp of caching strategies at the application/browser layer, Dispatcher layer, and CDN layer Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug/troubleshoot complex technical issues via browser testing tools. Familiarity with Adobe software such as Experience Manager, Analytics, Target, and Dynamic Media. Experience working with web development solutions such as Progressive Web Applications (PWA) and Single-Page Applications (SPA). Experience working with different web development frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js. Experience with headless implementations using REST and GraphQL. Experience working with code building/packaging tools such as Maven, Yarn, and Webpack. Good understanding of WCM core components and templates, and manipulation of the DOM. Knowledge and experience with Real User Monitoring (RUM) tools and analysis. Additional Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker. Experience with data analytics and visualization tools. Knowledge of Linux and other services such as Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), PHP, MySQL, Redis, Java, Chef, and CDN (CloudFront, Akamai, Fastly) services is a plus. Experience with long-term operation, monitoring and reporting (New Relic, Nagios, Splunk) a plus. Special consideration given for: Equivalent experience or advanced education, such as a Master's degree. Prior front-end development experience with Fortune 500 clients. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $111,700 $195,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
