Job Description: Job Duties Internships are a key way for students to gain valuable work experience, make important career contacts, and learn about the CoreLogic culture. Our interns will participate in the day-to-day work environment, have an impact working on real technology project and business challenges. We work on the cutting edge of the industry, with next-gen technology, like cloud native applications, machine learning and AI. Guided by our Core Values, we're dedicated to growing as professionals and members of our community, making the experience of working at CoreLogic as an intern, supportive, constructive and fun This is an opportunity to combine hard skills such as programming, data modeling, and statistics with soft skills such as communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. You will gain a wide variety of experience from data analyzation to metrics design. You will share your findings by creating visualizations using BI reporting tools and generating reports to be presented in front of co-workers and other teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Review and validate client data to ensure data integrity. Implement new data analysis methodologies. Identifying patterns that signal a potential for improvement in business practices. Receives general supervision and guidance from more experienced team members. Follows department processes, procedures and client requirements; may make recommendations and/or implement improvements/ solutions. Participates in Internship Program activities and events to include: onboarding, educational activities, information sessions, product demos and social events. Provide general administrative support as needed. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required. Job Qualifications: JOB QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university, or equivalent boot camp program. Minimum three years of relevant coursework completed by time of internship or equivalent boot camp program work. Preferred minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent Prior internship or co-op experience preferred Participation in campus activities related to field preferred Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experience Assignment Specific Experience Strong understanding of Structured Query Language. Familiarity with BI Reporting tools (Tableau, Salesforce CRMA, Looker, etc.) Skills Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of processes, procedures and products used for Business Intelligence and Data Management Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (MSSQL Server, Oracle and GBQ) Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid analytical capability; ability to exercise sound judgment; strong decision-making skills Strong attention to detail; high degree of quality orientation Strong organization and prioritization skills; ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment Ability to take direction from multiple people; ability to flex to the work styles of others Ability to be a collaborative team player in a fast paces/changing environment; self-motivated and directed Strong technical aptitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, such as Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.
