Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Cupid/Radiant Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise with Epic's Radiant (radiology) and Cupid (cardiology) modules and possess the skills needed to optimize, maintain, and support imaging and cardiology applications. This role is essential to ensuring these applications align seamlessly with clinical workflows, improving patient care and operational efficiency. Candidates with direct experience in the Cath Lab and/or current Epic Cupid certification are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:System Configuration and Optimization : Configure, build, and test Epic Radiant and Cupid applications to meet clinical and operational requirements. Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and usability, translating business and clinical functionality into system configuration and workflow.Project Management and Collaboration : Contribute to project planning, scoping, and implementation for Radiant and Cupid module upgrades and enhancements. Work closely with cross-functional project teams, internal and external technical groups, and end-users to complete projects on time and within scope, ensuring that applications and third-party systems meet the organization's clinical and business needs.Workflow and Data Analysis : Conduct in-depth analysis of end-user workflows, data collection, and report details as they relate to application configuration and design. Perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses during application requirements gathering to inform optimal system configuration and workflow design.Testing and Documentation : Prepare and execute test scripts for application testing, new releases, integration, and user acceptance testing. Document test results, design changes, system issues, and internal procedures in alignment with departmental standards.Application Support and Troubleshooting : Provide tier 2 and 3 technical support for the Radiant and Cupid modules, troubleshooting complex issues and coordinating with Epic support and internal IT teams as needed. Monitor data quality, system efficiency, and data integrity, escalating issues appropriately.Quality Improvement : Analyze workflows to identify improvement opportunities. Work with clinical and operational leaders to address system-related challenges in imaging and cardiology workflows, continually seeking ways to enhance system functionality.Compliance and Best Practices : Ensure all system modifications comply with industry regulations and best practices, including HIPAA, Meaningful Use, and JCAHO requirements. Maintain knowledge of new technical solutions and concepts relevant to healthcare applications.Third-Party System Integration : Assist with the implementation and support of third-party systems, ensuring seamless integration with other cross-functional applications used within the organization.On-Call Rotation : Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support, ensuring the system remains functional and meets end-user needs.Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned to support overall organizational objectives.Education:
