Compliance and Quality Coordinator JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director of Compliance the Compliance and Quality Coordinator will be responsible for serving as a point of contact for BoldAge PACE while collaborating with all sites for SDR/ISR completion. Perform care plan and assessment audit, conduct comprehensive care audits, follow up with team members with SDR/Grievance issues. Assist with reportable documentation and root causes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage, evaluate, and refine quality and compliance strategy designed to meet the requirements and goals in collaboration with internal team and external standards. - Assist program management in building and refining policies and procedures related to care services. - Advising leadership and management on compliance/quality matters. - Developing and providing employee training on compliance/quality policies, practices, and reporting systems. - Identifying, quality and compliance issues, and assisting with investigating, and reporting irregularities, and violations. - Assist with ensuring grievances are being completed by team members. - Maintain records of compliance/quality activities. - Communicate with government agencies. - Prepare and file compliance/quality reports. - Assist with surveys and audits when necessary. - SDR/Grievance and team follow-up. - Comprehensive Care and Care Plan Audiits on an ongoing basis, Report finding to Executive Director, VP Operations and BoldAge Director of Compliance. - Collaborate with sites for SDR/ISR completion. - Generate reports for Compliance/Quality purposes and coordinate with the sites. - Educate process in PCO if necessary for SDR/ISR/Grievance/On-Call entry. - Assist with CMSA Agenda for Monthly calls. - Assist with All Surveys/Audits, as necessary. - Performs other duties as required and requested. REQUIREMENTS - RN license preferred - Associate degree or higher, preferably in health-related discipline - Experience in accountable care, managed care, compliance monitoring or quality improvement preferred. - Minimum of 1 year working with frail or elderly population. SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Ability to maintain a "people first" approach to all decision making, planning and program practices. - Working knowledge of PACE, PACE regulations, and related IT and EMR systems. - Effectively communicate with staff, colleagues, participants, and contracted vendors. - Promote services that exceed expectations and be assertive in creating a culture of "doing the right thing" in all situations. - Commitment to "doing the right thing" evidenced in all collaboration and communication. - Ability to be creative and innovative in working with teams, problem solving, and planning. - Ability to effectively organize, plan and fulfill responsibilities. - Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills - Ability to collect and analyze date. - Detail-oriented approach to systems and processes. - Work independently and as an effective member of a team. - Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with all levels of staff, other programs, agencies, members, providers and the general public. - Communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing, with individuals from varying cultural and their backgrounds. Prepare concise and clear reports. - Identify pertinent policy issues; develop strategies, solutions and procedures. - Organize and track numerous and diverse activities, timelines and issues. - Effectively use technology to process appropriate data and information and prepare reports. - Effectively utilize technology and appropriate software and interact as needed with PACE Information Systems.
