Quality and Compliance Data Specialist - Remote
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Compliance, the Senior Data Analyst will support all activities of the Quality Department by closely monitoring processes and documenting findings to ensure data is logged properly. This role involves auditing and delivering Utilization Review Data (PCO) in accordance with BoldAge PACE policies and procedures, accrediting organizations, and state and federal regulations. The Senior Data Analyst will manage reporting needs with state, CMS, and other regulatory agencies through multiple applications (Acumen, HPMS, CSSC). Additional responsibilities include assisting with regulatory audits at BoldAge sites, interacting with physicians, nurses, and caregivers, and preparing QI meeting presentations and tracking RCAs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilization Review Data: Create, audit, and deliver Utilization Review Data.
- Institutionalization Gidget: Assist with audits and correct entries for deficiencies and accuracy.
- Home Committee Presentations: Collaborate with the Medical Director to establish presentations.
- Conduct Audits: Perform audits for Advance Directives, Opioid, falls data, and immunization information. Conduct other audits as assigned
- HPMS Reporting: Manage Health Plan Management Systems and report findings to management.
- Agency Reporting: Manage reporting to and from all agencies affecting Quality/Compliance (CSSC, Acumen, HPMS).
- Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent quality by developing and enforcing practice systems, validating processes, providing documentation, and assisting staff.
- Quality Improvement: Train and counsel employees, develop quality improvement plans, conduct hazard analyses, and monitor processes.
- Process Validation: Establish specifications and quality attributes, measure production, document evidence, determine operations and performance qualification, and update quality assurance procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Required: Associate degree in a health-related discipline or nursing education.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with a frail or elderly population.
