Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.Essential Functions :Perform assessments as to the acceptability of finished and in process product.Originates and manages applicable section of the Customer Support System.Support the Production Part Approval Process as outlined in AIAG documents.Verify the acceptability of parts to be used in production.Administer the Interplant Nonconforming Return Process.Assist in the development of Quality System procedures and instructions and maintain records.Manage and perform calibration of standard measuring equipment, i.e. gauges, calipers, tooling as directed.Reads and comprehends route sheets and bill of materials, blueprints, and internal customer specifications.Performs internal audits as directed.Perform other related duties as assigned by management.Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours.Manage supplier rejection through using NCR system.Perform calibration activities and utilize the Gage Track software.Receive returned parts from customers.While this list is representative of essential job duties, it is not an all-inclusive list of duties required to perform this role. Other duties may be assigned in order to fulfill Donaldson's mission, vision and strategic plan objectives.Qualifications :To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.Ability to communicate with team leader, supervisor, and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to utilize precision measurement equipment including calipers, height gages, thickness gages, Faro Arm.Ability to utilize personal computers, specifically electronic mail, Microsoft Office applications, and Document Control System (ex. PDM).Understands manufacturing process sufficiently to troubleshoot issues and good judgment in resolving issues and determining associated risk.Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.Preferred Qualifications:Post-Secondary education (certifications/degrees)Welding inspection experienceCoordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience.Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
