Position Overview: We are excited to onboard a Systems Analyst consultant for a long-term, open-ended opportunity with a top cle, located in Glendale, WI. This role is pivotal to our team and requires the consultant to work onsite. Reporting directly to the Manager of Systems Development, the consultant will be instrumental in executing technical tasks related to RPG IV and EDI, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within our systems. Key Responsibilities: Systems Analysis: Conduct thorough systems analysis to identify and address technical requirements and challenges. Business Systems Analysis: Analyze business systems to ensure they meet organizational needs and objectives. Technical Execution: Perform technical tasks involving RPG IV and EDI, ensuring high-quality execution and integration. Project Alignment: Work closely with project teams to align technical work with project goals and business systems logic. EDI Data Processing: Read and process incoming EDI data, utilizing DELFOR, DELJITS, and ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) to ensure accurate and efficient data handling. Required Skills: Systems Analysis: Expertise in analyzing and optimizing systems to improve performance and functionality. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange): Proficiency in EDI processes and standards, with the ability to read and process EDI data effectively. RPG (Report Program Generator): Strong technical skills in RPG IV, with experience in developing and maintaining RPG-based applications. Business Systems Analysis: Ability to analyze business systems and processes, ensuring they align with organizational goals and requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, providing a strong understanding of industry-specific processes and challenges. Business Process Understanding: Deep understanding of business processes, enabling effective alignment of technical work with business objectives. Project Work Alignment: Ability to align technical tasks with project work, ensuring seamless integration and execution. EDI Standards: Familiarity with EDI standards such as DELFOR, DELJITS, and ASN, ensuring accurate and efficient data processing.
