The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders; Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action; Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased; Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods; Identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications; Communicate with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends; Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve sales of existing products; Negotiate sales or lease agreements for products or services; Developing and executing purchasing strategies, tracking metrics, negotiating deals, and managing vendors; Resolve customer complaints or problems; Analyze financial records or reports to determine state of operations; Prepare financial documents, reports, or budgets; Collaborate with stakeholders, forecast market trends, and ensure clear requirements documentation; Analyze costs, mitigate risks, and determine optimal delivery quantities and timings; Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies; Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness; Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms; and Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
