This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for internal technical support requests, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure smooth operations across all departments. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner, escalating complex problems to higher-level IT staff as needed. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other office equipment. Provide support for Microsoft Office applications, email, and other company-approved software. Assist with the setup and support of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. Document all support requests and resolutions in the IT ticketing system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Conduct routine maintenance on IT equipment, such as applying updates, patches, and firmware upgrades. Educate end-users on best practices for system use, data security, and software applications. Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and special initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance. Assist in onboarding and offboarding of employees by setting up and deactivating user accounts, and configuring new equipment as needed. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A, Network, Microsoft certifications) are a plus. 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic network troubleshooting. Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Excellent problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions: This is an on-site position working at our corporate offices located in Westlake, TX and at our new Installation Division located close by in Haslet, TX. Requires the ability to move around the facility and lift IT equipment up to 25 pounds. May require occasional after-hours support to address critical issues or perform system maintenance.
