We are seeking an experienced and versatile Marketing and Events Manager to oversee the creation of marketing collateral and the coordination of corporate events. This position will direct the development of materials that support marketing initiatives and corporate events while ensuring events are planned and executed within budget and align with the organization’s vision. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in marketing strategy, branding, and event management, coupled with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Branding:
Direct the creation of high-quality marketing collateral to support corporate events, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
Ensure marketing materials align with the organization’s branding guidelines and support strategic goals.
Manage social media platforms and website content to enhance the company’s online presence and promote events and initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
Event Planning and Management:
Oversee and manage the planning and execution of corporate events, including conferences, meetings, and retreats.
Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with organizational expectations.
Develop and maintain the event calendar, tracking budgets and timelines to ensure events are completed within financial and scheduling constraints.
Serve as the primary liaison with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
Provide oversight for sponsorship opportunities and ensure events enhance customer and partner relationships.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team, and internal partners to align event strategies with marketing objectives.
Lead project update meetings to ensure milestones are achieved and timelines are met.
Supervise and guide support staff and event planners, as needed.
Administrative and Strategic Support:
Track and report on event and marketing campaign performance, providing data-driven insights to leadership.
Maintain records of contracts, budgets, and post-event summaries for evaluation and future planning.
Generate correspondence and communications related to events and marketing initiatives, including client proposals and thank-you letters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in marketing and event management, with a focus on creating marketing collateral and coordinating events.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and design.
Proven ability to manage budgets and negotiate vendor contracts.
Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
