Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team, focusing on defense projects. The candidate will be responsible for designing various components for ground vehicles, including armor, tanks, brackets, and wire harnesses, using CREO software. The role involves creating both mechanical and electrical designs, collaborating closely with on-site engineers to bring models to reality.
Responsibilities
Design various components for ground vehicles, including armor, tanks, brackets, and wire harnesses using CREO software.
Work strictly on the computer to develop designs and utilize Teamcenter PLM software for information storage.
Transform scanned parts into detailed drawings and create digital twin models where they do not exist.
Collaborate with on-site engineers to understand and implement model requirements.
Ensure designs adhere to military standards and project specifications.
Essential Skills
Proficient in CREO design software with experience in designing defense items.
Basic understanding and ability to follow existing military standards.
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Experience with Teamcenter PLM software.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers and discuss project changes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Must meet ITAR requirements.
