Administrative Assistant
to join our client's Healthcare team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr - $25/hr
Position Overview:
The successful candidate for the Administrative Assistant role will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our client's medical facility. This Administrative Assistant role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
Office Management: Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling appointments, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring the office environment is clean and organized.Patient Coordination: Assist in the coordination of patient care, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.Documentation: Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files and records in compliance with healthcare regulations.Billing and Insurance: Assist with billing processes, including preparing invoices, processing payments, and handling insurance claims.Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and external partners. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.Data Entry: Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems.Compliance: Ensure all administrative activities comply with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:
Must have laboratory experience.Must have Covid Vaccine and Booster and 2024/2025 flu vaccine.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality.Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.Benefits:
