AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist - Oklahoma, OK
AmeriPath in conjunction with Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a general surgical pathologists for a hospital-based system in/around the Oklahoma City area.
Responsibilities
AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist, with or without GI specialty training, based in a large tertiary care hospital with a heavy transplant service. The case mix includes liver, lung, heart, transplant, GU, neuropathology, GI, and general surgical pathology. Call and frozen sections are to be expected.The role is suited for pathologists that have a commitment to patient care, diagnostic accuracy and teamwork within a regional hospital setting. The role will join a larger team of about 10 experienced pathologists with expertise in varying specialties.
Oklahoma is a large city boasting arts, theatre, music, sports, natural beauty and outdoor recreation. The area offers low cost of living, a mild climate with distinct seasons, great educational opportunities and a growing food scene.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency/fellowshipMust be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathologyLicensed to practice medicine in the state Oklahoma or eligible to obtain licensure
