Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Chair of Orthopedic Surgery to lead our team at NCH, Jacksonville Florida.
The Chair of Orthopedic Surgery will lead the strategic growth and advancement of clinical excellence and academic pursuits of Nemours-Children's Health, Jacksonville. The Chair will continue to build a nationally recognized pediatric orthopedic program that is regarded as exceptional in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia and beyond.
The Chair will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer at NCH, Jacksonville. This accomplished leader will assume responsibility for the strategic, operational, and administrative functions for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, which includes 5 full-time surgeons, 2 non-operative physicians, 5 physician assistants and 1 Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, providing orthopedic care for over 36,000 patient visits in 2022. The program offers all aspects of pediatric orthopedics with the ability for an energetic innovative leader to expand to meet the needs of this growing region. The department has an approved fellowship and trains residents from the Mayo Clinic and University of Florida college of medicine. This experienced leader will work in partnership with hospital leadership and medical education staff to ensure that the highest quality clinical, research and teaching services are provided through the physicians, clinical and support staff.

Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville has a long-standing affiliation with Wolfson Children's Hospital; a 280-bed free standing Children's Hospital. Our main campus clinic and ambulatory space connects via skybridge to the hospital, ORs, and inpatient units.
