Job Description

Responsible for the overall management of the Property's IT support efforts and staff, including direct experience leading and managing IT teams. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of managing IT operations, including planning, organizing, and implementing complex IT projects. This hands-on technical working manager role reports to the Regional Director of IT and requires strong leadership skills in a technical environment. Additionally, candidates should have experience developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, systems, and methods for the effective management and control of IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:Oversee IT Support:

Manage, direct and perform the activities of the Property's IT group to ensure the timely and accurate installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.Problem Solving:

Ensure that the team identifies and solves any technical issues quickly. Keep track of these problems and how they were resolved.Team Management:

Responsible for all things related to the team, personnel-related matters including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and discharging.Project Management:

Lead and manage IT projects for the property, including setting up new systems and overseeing installations.Communication:

Keep upper management informed about any technical-related needs or issues.Policies and Procedures:

Develop and maintain guidelines to make sure the IT department runs smoothly and stays compliant with company rules.Budget Management:

Oversee the IT department's budget, work with Regional Director of I.T. to identify needs and make sure spending is in line with what's been approved.Install, Maintain, and Fix IT Equipment:

Make sure that all computer hardware, software, servers, and accessories are set up correctly, kept in good working order, and fixed when needed.Solve Tech Problems Quickly:

Ensure that your team finds and fixes any tech issues as soon as possible, and that they keep records of the problems and how they were resolved.Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline or a comparable level of experience preferred.Five (5) of supervisory (or higher) level experience in an IT Support position required; must have in-depth familiarity with IT Support operations and Tier Support operations.Advanced knowledge of network fundamentals such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and network.Must have at least four (4) years of applied experience with Windows 2000, Windows 7, workstation topologies, and network hardware.Must be A+ certified.ITIL V3 Awareness training preferred.Must have advanced computer networking, client-server, and AS400/iSeries experience.Must have excellent project management and proven leadership skills in positions of increasing responsibility.Must be knowledgeable about network equipment, hub, switches, and servers.Must have excellent communication and time-management skills.Must be familiar with various casino business systems and the full suite of Microsoft Office applications.

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses
