Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Business Analyst- MIS Dashboards to join their team. As a Business Analyst- MIS Dashboards, you will be part of the Project Clear team supporting multiple MIS dashboard projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong PowerBI experience as well as JIRA/Confluence, and will be able to manage the end-to-end process from initial discovery through to deployment and user training.
Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY (2x/week in JC office)
Pay Range: W2 only, Based on Experience
What's the Job?
Act as the lead for multiple MIS dashboard projects, managing the end-to-end process from initial discovery through to deployment and user training
Engage with investment banking teams, CRM users, finance, and other departments to understand their reporting and data visualization needs. Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Oversee the creation and approval of core project documentation including business requirements, functional requirements, technical specifications, user acceptance testing.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics and KPIs. Help create mockups and wireframes of dashboard designs to visually represent proposed solutions.
Facilitate communication between business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders. Ensure that all parties are aligned on goals, timelines, and deliverables. Identify risk and issues, lead communication and resolution.
What's Needed?
5+ years of financial services experience as a Business Analyst or related role
Experience in the investment banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
Proven track record of leading projects from conception to deployment
A proficiency in creating detailed business requirements documentation utilizing data flow diagrams and solution wireframing.
Experience working in an Agile environment, with proficiency in writing user stories, backlog management, and sprint planning.
