Job Description

For 30/hr, our client is looking for a Deskside Support Engineer to join their tier 2 team in their NYC location on the trading floor. This role is crucial for providing high-quality support for the flagship office in NY, including C-suite interactions and other employees across locations from London to Stamford. This role involves troubleshooting tickets, new hire onboarding, desktop builds, phone setups, new hire applications, and customer service calls. This engineer will work in a Windows/PC environment, requiring strong Office 365 troubleshooting skills. They also will be in charge of ordering POs and managing the process from order to disposition. The ideal candidate is a proactive thinker with excellent customer service skills, capable of providing high-quality support.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience in desktop support

- Experience supporting PC computers/laptops, completing tickets related to iPhone issues (predominately Apple and some Android)

- Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPO), scripting, and Azure

- Experience troubleshooting MS Office Suite products (MS O365, MS teams, Excel, Word)

- Experience with working with Intune

- Experience working in a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred)

Experience with in-person customer service when troubleshooting/completing IT tickets Experience working on trading floor null
