5. Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: 2- or 4-year college degree is helpful but not required if experience demonstrates the ability to carry out the functions listed above

Job Duties The Training Evaluation Unit (TEU) within the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development is responsible for reviewing and approving private career schools in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Education and maintaining the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL). In New Jersey, only ETPL providers may receive state or federal training dollars.
8. Job responsibilities in Brief The temp positions will be responsible for:• Reviewing and approving initial and renewal applications, modifications, and change requests from providers for the Eligible Training Provider List and to become Private Career Schools• Documenting activity and communicating with providers and other unit staff through IGX
o Adhering to the NJDOL regulations on private career schools and to Training Evaluation Unit goals, policies, and procedures.• Providing technical assistance and training to Training Providers and Local workforce Areas that contract with training providers.
