Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (Pediatric Critical Care) Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36-48 hours per week Experience: 4 years in RRT Pediatric Critical Care, preferably NICU/PICU License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Pediatrics experience preferred Job Description: - Candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis; first-time travelers need at least 3 years of recent experience - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend - On-call: Not required - Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs - Block scheduling accommodation available - Non-smoking facility with zero tolerance - Continuous compliance required with no pending items - Must participate in orientation prior to start date - Photo required upon acceptance; guidelines provided Orientation Dates for the Remainder of 2024: - August 19th - September 9th, 16th - October 7th, 21st - November 4th, 18th - December 2nd, 16th Additional Requirements: - Open to experienced therapists from other disciplines if qualified - Hospital characterized as a Magnet, Teaching, & Level I Pediatric Trauma Center - No logo uniforms; must be child-friendly - Charting experience with Cerner preferred Special Requirements: - Locals accepted with travel benefits - RTO restrictions apply: 1 week/7 days max; if 1 full week, additional week required to make up RTO - Compliance due prior to start date with non-billable modules expected to be completed This is a unique opportunity for an experienced respiratory therapist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment focused on pediatric critical care.
