Assist the Controllers and Assistant Controllers with the financial affairs of the organization including preparation of financial transactions and audit support. Provide business management tools and reports for managers. Demonstrate a relentless pursuit of continuous improvement for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in financial transactions preparation consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.Perform financial account analysis.Administer employee credit card programs.Perform account reconciliations.Support and audit inventory processes.Prepare annual property tax returns, 1099s, fuel taxes and other reports required by regulatory agencies.Provide support for all financial audits.Assist with budget preparation.Monitor and provide backup support for AP and AR workflow queues.Assist AP and AR departments with vendor/customer account reconciliations.Assist in organizational process improvement implementations.Other duties or special projects as assigned by Controllers or Assistant Controllers.Compliance with ethical standards of accounting societies.Must have or be working towards an accounting certification. CPA or CMA preferred.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Master's degree in Business Administration.1+ years of accounting experience in an office environment.Positive attitude and an eagerness to exceed expectations.Possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.Advanced technology and spreadsheet skills mandatory.Proficiency with Gmail, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle Enterprise Planning and Management, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Hyland OnBase and Command Alkon software programs will be required in this position (experience with all of these systems is not required to apply).
