Job DescriptionOverview:Join our client in this direct hire tole as a Quality Manager. Int his role you will ensure the highest standards of quality for cutting-edge automated machinery. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead a dedicated quality team, implement innovative strategies, and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.Job Responsibilities:Manage the Quality Department on the shop floor, overseeing a team of two inspectorsEnsure quality standards are met across the entire roofing machine lineReview and update existing quality processes and documentationConduct comprehensive quality checks, including guarding, torque specifications, and alignment of componentsPerform root cause analysis when quality issues ariseOversee system-wide quality assurance rather than focusing on individual partsAnalyze and interpret quality data to identify trends and areas for improvementImplement and maintain quality control systems and proceduresCollaborate with other departments to enhance overall product qualityEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsLead quality improvement initiatives and projectsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field5+ years of experience in quality managementStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniquesExperience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologiesExcellent leadership and communication skillsKnowledge of welding and weld inspection (preferred)Green Belt or Six Sigma certification (preferred)Salary: $75,000-95,000 (Dependent on experience) #inAutoMeet Your RecruiterMax FrancisTechnical RecruiterMax Francis is a seasoned Engineering Recruiter specializing in the Automation Division at Sterling.
