Our client is seeking a QA analyst to join their team.

Job Title:

QA analyst

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $28/hr. - $30/hr.

What's the Job?

The main function of a QA analyst is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. A QA test analyst will typically run manual tests given to them by their QA lead. They will then properly log and communicate any defects they identify to the team for further escalation as needed. They will also be expected to help create and maintain the test case database during the entirety of the project.

The potential candidate will be running manual tests via Quest VR headsets

Day to Day responsibilities include:

Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures utilizing a VR Headset.Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.Create or maintain databases of known test defects.Create test cases and maintain test case databases.Work with test lead to identify gaps in testing databases.Install, setup, and maintain VR hardware and equipment

Must have Skills:1-2 years' experience with VR headset.Comfortably utilizing a VR headset for 5-6 hours a day.1-2 years QA experience in games.Attention to detail, writing out bugs

Working with small teams.

Proactive.

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills.

Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with an unreal engine.Test automation.Interest in gaming
