Working closely with Design leadership, he/she/they will lead a function of the Team Sports Design Group from creative development (ideation) to final execution (production). This role will be able to work on all sport-uniform categories, retail sporting apparel, and professional & collegiate athlete outfitting.Your Impact

Produce cutting-edge uniform designs reflecting Under Armour’s position as a worldwide leader in on-field outfitting (football, basketball, diamond sports, soccer, olympic sports)Prepare and present conceptual ideas based on sport-culture, fan insight and athlete-trendDesign and deliver pinnacle apparel sideline assortments for athlete and coach-wearingDevelop graphics & branding systems for Under Armour & key partners (collegiate & professional teams)Create seasonal apparel graphics for key retailers as well as licensed collegiate graphicsManage, guide, and mentor a team of fellow designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workspaceStrategize and implement a design ethos focused on product innovation and sport disruptionOrganize and lead seasonal product presentations, with both internal and external partnersCollaborate across multiple UA job-functions, including Product Managers, Marketing, Apparel Design and Apparel Development & MaterialsDemonstrate flexibility/adaptability, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task projects within overlapping and often tight timelinesQualifications

A strong design-vision in branding & identity and uniform graphic applicationPassion for story-telling and the ability to translate concepts into unique sport momentsLove for sport and athletic performance productA self-motivator with an ability to inspire and create fearlesslyMeticulous attention to detail with an emphasis on clean work-flow and design file managementExperience multi-tasking under tight deadlines while not sacrificing design quality and accuracyExcellent communication skills, comfortable operating in large and small presentation settingsA team player who is equally adept at working independently and in a dynamic team environmentAn advanced understanding of apparel manufacturing, development, and textile decoration7+ years of relevant graphic & branding / uniform-apparel design experienceExperience leading and managing a direct reportBA, BFA in Graphic Design or Product DesignExpert proficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteWorkplace Location

$97,701.00 - $134,339.70 USDMost new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.Our Commitment to Diversity
