As our Head of Talent, you will lead and execute our talent acquisition strategy, reporting directly to our Vice President, Business Operations. You will be responsible for building our talent function from the ground up, serving as the primary recruiter for our open roles, and establishing best practices for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top-tier candidates across all departments.This role involves working closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand our talent needs, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and ensuring we attract and retain the best talent in the industry. The Head of Talent will combine a data-driven talent-acquisition approach, along with deep industry knowledge and intuition, to reshape our talent strategy and execution. This role will assess and redefine talent processes across the organization, including our current tools and ATS, internal hiring practices, and onboarding, to create a scalable and efficient talent acquisition framework that supports our growth and evolving business needs.This is a great opportunity to shape and design a talent function, establish a high standard for talent acquisition, and play a pivotal role in the trajectory of the company’s success by bringing aboard key talent and cultivating our company culture.ABOUT YOU

You have a wealth of industry knowledge and have strong intuition on what ‘great’ talent looks like across common technical, operational, and customer-facing roles at a growth-stage Enterprise Software startup.REQUIREMENTS7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on building and scaling talent functions in high-growth environments.Experience designing and implementing full-cycle recruitment processes, from sourcing to offer acceptance.Proven track record of sourcing and closing top-tier candidates across various functions and levels.Demonstrated ability to use data and market insights to influence senior leadership and drive recruiting strategies.Deep understanding of talent market trends, competitive landscapes, and innovative sourcing strategies.Experience implementing and optimizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Ashby.Strong analytical skills with the ability to set, measure, and report on talent acquisition metrics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to coach hiring managers on effective interviewing and assessment techniques.Track record of building diverse and inclusive teams.BONUS SKILLS

Previous start-up experience.Familiarity with Healthcare, Benefits, and/or Fintech.COMPENSATION

Base salary of $180,000 to $200,000. Range(s) is subject to change. Benepass takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including market comparables, how you interview, peer compensation, and years of experience.Travel

Certain roles may involve occasional travel. You will be expected to attend company-wide on-site events three times per year.Location

Although we operate as a 100% US Remote company, certain positions may necessitate occasional attendance at one of our offices in NY or Oakland. Additionally, some roles may require residence in specific geographic regions or time zones.What We Offer
