We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assurance Associate to join our client's team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, hone technical skills, and grow within a supportive, professional environment.
Responsibilities:Apply general accounting and auditing principles based on the level of service provided.Plan and manage daily activities for assurance engagements in alignment with firm standards.Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to the engagement team.Build and maintain direct communication with clients.Supervise and mentor assurance staff during engagements (if serving as In-Charge).Perform other duties as assigned to support team success.Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Accounting.At least one year of recent audit experience in public accounting.CPA designation (required).Strong technical skills with a commitment to leveraging technology effectively.Experience servicing high net-worth clients preferred.Ability to meet client needs with excellent communication, interpersonal, and research skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Commitment to professional ethics and high standards of integrity.A team player with a drive to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
