Coordinates within the business unit for each deliverable within the project. Communicates with customer and manages expectations. Ensures effective use of project controls and reporting mechanisms. Coordinates project staffing; motivates and develops project team. Provides leadership to the project team members.Job DescriptionENGSupervision and coordination of the implementation process of new projects in the Plant in accordance with IPMActively supporting Regional Program Managers in planning and implementing program schedulesRepresent site-level Program Launch Teams (PLT) meetings to communicate program information and coordinate activities among teamsManage program-specific activities required to introduce new projects to the plantContact with the customerOrganizing and managing stakeholder meetings, documenting and monitoring important actions and decisions taken at the meetingsReporting progress of new launches to senior managementSupervising and coordinating the work of the Project Team to ensure the achievement of set goals and support with the knowledge of other departmentsMotivates and takes care of the development of the project teamContinuous improvement process: supporting the improvement process in terms of: work, quality, equipment and tools, area, working conditionsOrganizing important construction sites by coordinating the project teamMonitoring and maintaining the schedule of all commissioning activities at the plant levelAll other duties as assignedRequired Skills and EducationENGRequired: Higher education, preferably project management (or relevant)Profession: Project Engineer (or relevant)5 years of experience in Automotive manufacturing areaminimum 2 years of experience gained on a similar position, connected with new projects launchingProfessional experience in project/program management or related fieldKnowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and 8DsExcellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, MS Project will be an advantage)Advanced English (both written and spoken)Ability to independently run projects and effectively prioritize tasksHigh analytical and problem-solving skillsVery good communication skillsAbility to manage non-direct subordinatesAbility to multitask and prioritizeAbout AAM:As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
