Job Locations: US-Any US OfficeID: 2024-1493OverviewWe are seeking a tenured Counsel or Senior Associate to join our busy, cutting-edge cyber, privacy, and data innovation team. Responsibilities include working on our robust pipeline of sophisticated, innovative, and industry-leading litigation, including class actions, across a range of clients in Orrick's industry verticals of technology, finance, life sciences, and energy. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, and a proactive and critical thinker who has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, noteworthy writing skills, and the ability to balance working independently while being a strong team member.ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7+ years of sophisticated, complex civil litigation experience, and be a passionate, highly motivated, dynamic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and above all a team player.Specific cyber/data/privacy litigation experience is highly valued.The candidate must possess strong academic credentials, excellent legal research abilities, and superb writing and oral communication skills.This position offers the candidate the opportunity to assume significant responsibility in managing all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including working directly with clients, managing all aspects of discovery (with the support of Orrick's industry-leading eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support team), taking and defending depositions, making court appearances and handling oral argument at key hearings, handling mediations, etc.Membership to the State Bar of the desired office is required.How to Apply:Please apply online at

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future.
