The Account Management team is part of the Sales Team at Gorgias. We educate merchants on optimizing their customer experience for efficiency and personalization at scale. The focus of our team is driving growth in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) through renewals, cross-selling and upselling to our existing customer base. In this critical and highly cross-functional role, you will be at the forefront of innovative tech solutions and your skills will be instrumental in driving revenue.
You will join a team of 6 at a time when we are scaling our processes for renewals and expansions, giving you the opportunity to shape and build the team and processes.
What You'll Do
As part of our Account Management team, your role will be focused on managing renewals and driving ARR growth through strategic cross-selling and upselling.You will manage a diverse book of approximately 100-120 accounts, being responsible for both renewals and identifying expansion opportunities.Hold a quota and be responsible for optimizing your own sales process to achieve it.Demo existing customers on our Automate product and own the closing process for renewals and expansions.Collaborate closely with the Customer Success Team to strategically book and close demos and engage existing customers both inbound and through proactive outreach.Who You Are3 or more years of sales experience, with at least 1 year in a full-cycle sales or closing role as an Account Executive, selling SaaS or to e-commerce brands.Proven track record of success in a quota-carrying role, consistently meeting and exceeding targets.Experience managing a book of business with about 30-40 deals/opportunities per month, focusing on renewals and cross-sell.Exceptional skills in account planning and value-based selling, capable of engaging with C-suite executives.Ability to understand complex ideas, automate processes, and actively manage your own pipeline.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.Tech-savvy, acting as a solutions consultant to discuss how our products can enhance the customer experience and drive revenue.Passionate about selling, eager to be coached, and looking to further develop your sales skills.Outstanding negotiation skills, verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.Nice to HaveExperience as an e-commerce founder running your own online storeExperience working at a tech-start upFluency in FrenchPerks & Benefits5-week vacationPaid sick leave6 weeks full remote/yearPaid parental leave (16 weeks)MacBook ProMonthly lunch stipend of $300Health insurance with up to 100% of premiums paid for employees - Anthem & Kaiser (CA only) explore our plansRetirement: Gorgias contributes to your 401k 100% of the first 3% of deferred W-2 income, 50% of the next 2% of deferred W-2 income.Get up to $700 to set up your workstation at home (working from home should feel breezy)Get up to $2000 of learning material and wellness support per year!
