Roofing Production Manager , where you'll oversee and optimize production processes, ensuring timely and high-quality roof installations for both Residential and Commercial. Your expertise will be pivotal in managing resources, collaborating with teams, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.Role Overview
As the Roofing Production Manager, you'll lead the production team, coordinating schedules, assigning resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll act as the hub of communication between crews, clients, and internal departments, driving efficiency and success in every project.Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & SchedulingDevelop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely installation of contracted roofs.Assign work orders based on crew expertise, location, and availability.Work closely with Superintendents to optimize production timelines, materials, and resources.Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and manage the production team to meet objectives and maintain high performance.Conduct performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and support employee development.Resource Management
Monitor and manage resources to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure timely project completion.Anticipate material demands, negotiate with vendors, and oversee delivery timelines.Customer & Vendor Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for the superintendent, customer & vendor relations, homeowners, and supply vendors.Process Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.Document and update CRM systems (Sunbase) with accuracy and thoroughness.Warranty & Repair Management
Oversee warranty and repair work, in conjunction with the Repair Manager ensuring prompt resolution of client concerns.QualificationsEducation : Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.Experience : Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience, with a strong background in roofing or construction preferred.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems.Leadership : Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and inspire performance.Key AttributesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package.A dynamic and supportive work environment where your ideas matter.Opportunities for growth and professional development.
