Support the CEO / President with all administrative dutiesProvides a bridge for smooth communication between the President and CEO’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.Works closely and effectively with the President and CEO to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the President updatedSuccessfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the President/CEO's ability to effectively lead the companyPrioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.Communicates directly, and on behalf of the President and CEO, with Board members, donors, Foundation staff, and others, on matters related to President/CEO's programmatic initiatives.Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the President/CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.Edits and completes first drafts for written communications to external stake holdersServes as a back-up project manager with the corporate strategy team, coordinating timelines and milestones for activities, meetings and presentations that involve Strategic Initiatives.Assists in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings and off-sites, and all-staff meetings, including but not limited to sister-companies and Canada business initiatives.Facilitates cross-divisional coordination of travel and outreach plans that includes execution of large-scale projects or assuming a Stakeholding role to ensure president/CEOs initiatives are successfully executed.
This is a full-time opportunity, position is 12 months temp, with strong potential to go temp to hire for the right person. Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. This is an hybdid, requiring someone who can work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.The ideal candidate will have:
3 – 5 years of experience with C level executive assistant experienceProficient in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Outlook, Autoway, AS400.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Organized and detail oriented.Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
Pay Rate:
