Medical -Legal Office Administrator
LHH Recruitment Solutions, Lyndhurst, Ohio, United States,
LHH is recruiting an Office Administrator for a medical-legal office in Mayfield Heights.
According to established policies and procedures, the Office Administrator (OA) partners with the President to oversee the operations of the office.
Responsibilities:Responsible for overall day-to-day office function, including facility management, vendor resources and interfacing with building management, cleaning company, building security and parking. Responsible for managing the operational function of the office.
Administers and oversees the compliance of the office policies & procedures and the individual office\u2019s procedures.
Contracts for the purchase of necessary office supplies, within the limits prescribed by the Firm\u2019s budget for such expenditures.
Directs firm's Records Policies including scanning and destruction of closed files.
Organizing and maintaining file system for medical records and for ALL documents.
Responsible for all aspects of employee development, including recruiting, hiring, new employee orientation, staff utilization, performance management and conflict resolution to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Assists in the marketing of the KTA\u2019s services and client development activities that may include client entertainment events, webinars/seminars, and various meetings.
Assist in recruitment as directed by President; facilitates successful integration of new hires.
Effectively liaise with Finance Department, Liaison/Assistant Office Administrator and other staff members.
Oversees all personnel files.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining personnel and human resource files and system.
Oversees and implements annual and more review process with evaluations and feedback to each employee.
Tracks bonus and raises for all employees and contractors.
Works closely with the Legal Executive Assistant and Office Liaison
Qualifications:
Ten years of progressively responsible work experience with legal, medical or other professional service organizations to gain experience in managing business operations including planning, human resources, purchasing and workflow functions.
Experience working in a law firm, understanding of the legal world including depositions, trial scheduling and testimony, errata sheets and similar issues.
Experience in working with medical experts, record reviews and Independent Medical Evaluations, as well as Life Care Planning, Vocational Assessments, UCR reviews and similar related matters.
Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher.
Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements.
Extensive experience and knowledge of recruiting and staffing practices.
Knowledge of human resource field;
Ability to identify and analyze issues and problems and to recommend and implement solutions.
Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain effective relationships with attorneys, clients, and staff in person, by e-mail and by telephone; to manage staff, facilitate individual and group meetings dealing with the law office operation.
