Position Overview
As a company, we serve as the foundational data and technology layer in which analytics and insights can be accessed through a single lens. Our main goal is to advance our clients' advertising and marketing strategies through the use of smart data and technology application that unlock insights and drive business results. Our unique approach to data and technology - one that relies on transparency, neutrality, and interoperability - allows us to deliver purpose-built and scalable solutions that make data actionable. We have teams of analysts, data and marketing scientists, consultants, and technical experts to help us meet the business goals of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
As the lead of this client-facing data science team, you will lead data scientists to plan and on client demands. This will include working with agency strategists and media buyers to create solutions that shape the strategic direction of your client's marketing plans through data-driven insights, audience solutions, and measurement techniques. Additionally, you will work with the client to evaluate data partners in terms of their ability to provide relevant, reputation and privacy-safe additive datasets.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$220,000-$315,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.

Additionally, you will work with the client to evaluate data partners in terms of their ability to provide relevant, reputation and privacy-safe additive datasets.
This will involve
- Leading and helping to build a data science team that can interpret, ideate, and deliver client needs
- Interacting with client and internal teams (internal agency and external) to plan & execute data science projects and strategies related to media planning and performance
- Working directly with tech and data partners regarding data, clean rooms, custom bidding platform functionality, and troubleshooting related issues
- Working with data from behavioral partners, ad servers, DSPs, measurement partners, and other online or offline datasets to develop client-specific solutions
- Collaboratively ideating and building tools that aid with analysis and ML transparency, visualization, and performance measurement
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 10+ years of industry experience; knowledge of ad-tech ecosystem, programmatic advertising, and agency work experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or business/marketing related fields, advanced quantitative degree or intensive bootcamp experience preferred
- Must have hands-on expertise in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Demonstrated experience managing mid-sized or larger data science teams
- Must be able to work with internal and client stakeholders to conceptualize and implement complex data science projects, inclusive of data origination
- Must have demonstrated client management expertise
- Must have demonstrated experience in media planning, analysis and measurement
