In a little over a year, the company has been selected for or awarded eight-figures of OTAs and other contracts across multiple services and DoD customers. We have raised over $10M in funding, led by Point72 Ventures, a top multi-billion dollar AUM defense tech investor.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and inventory management activities for all company R&D efforts, based out of our facility in South Seattle. This individual will have the responsibility of designing and implementing new systems and policies for the procurement function in order to support engineering priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing: Source equipment, materials and services across the organization. Define procurement policies including standard agreement terms, and purchasing and approval responsibility processes.
Inventory Management: Design inventory system. Track and manage inventory levels. Work with engineers to forecast demand for supplies as accurately as possible.
Vendor Management: Research, select, and negotiate contracts with vendors. Track order lead times against project timelines and communicate status and issues to the leadership team.
Finance: Work with finance team to ensure that procured items are properly tagged to projects in the accounting system.
Systems Implementation: Implement ERP and inventory tracking systems.
Desired Qualifications:
+4 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent documentation, communications and interpersonal skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with the ability to drive achievement of objectives.
Ability to understand and interpret technical design specifications.
Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic work environment. Some exposure to a start-up environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to obtain a US government security clearance.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $100K to $140K annually.
