Fort Meyers, FL.AtkinsRéalis seeks an Architect for on-site construction administration services for a high-profile project in Fort Meyers, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a prestigious project while conducting on-site/field services.NOTE:

Relocation to or current residence in Fort Meyers Florida area is required.How will you contribute to the team?While reporting to Senior Project Managers, serve as the architectural on-site lead with responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating project assignments with all design team members, Owner, and Contractor.Lead coordination of resolution for construction-related issues, clarifications, or revisions with design team leads and subconsultants.Review Submittals and create responses to RFI.Create and manage design clarifications with the design team.Perform on-site observations of projects under construction to ensure aesthetic value and construction quality.Conduct ongoing quality control checks, produce punch lists throughout construction, and lead on-site project closeout procedures at the end of the construction phase.Lead weekly internal project coordination meetings with AtkinsRéalis staff and subconsultants.Lead weekly RFI, submittal, and notice of variance review meetings with Contractor and Owner.Lead weekly change order management meetings with Contractor and Owner.Lead weekly project progress meetings and on-site walkthroughs as needed.Lead QA/QC and Non-compliance review meetings with Contractor, Subcontractors, and Owner.Ability to make timely design and technical decisions in a collaborative manner while seeking advice of peers and supervisors.Ability to present oneself professionally to clients as well as maintain a ‘seller-doer’ approach.Ability to routinely interface with clients and keep them properly informed.Ability to develop modification sketches into Revit-based documents as well as direct a project team to do the same.Ability to produce a complete set of construction documents in BIM.Ability to redline documents for production using BlueBeam or another digital format.Ability to coordinate with sub-consultants and other disciplines.Ability to create organized Exhibits in BlueBeam and PowerPoint for client and team review.Ability to complete assignments efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.Communicate regularly with the team and stay within the hours budgeted for tasks assigned.Ability to maintain and coordinate project BIM model and strong knowledge in construction document standards and conventions.Possess a strong knowledge of building codes.Ability to interact with regulatory agencies and achieve a consensus.Ability to consult with product manufacturers to evaluate and obtain accurate cost information, select materials, and inspect architectural features in the field.Understanding of building materials and construction methods.Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to work in a team environment as needed.Ability to analyze information and propose effective solutions on one's own initiative.Possess an Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire for career advancement.Performs such other duties as the Supervisor determines necessary to support the Architecture Practice.What will you contribute?Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture required.Minimum 8-15 years of relevant work experience to include all phases of architectural practice and coordination of consultants.The position requires expertise in BIM/Revit and AutoCAD.Candidate must be in the process of completing the Architect Registration Exam (ARE).We offer at AtkinsRéalis:Competitive salaryFlexible work schedulesGroup InsurancePaid Family LeaveTwo Floating HolidaysPaid Parental Leave (including maternity and paternity)Pet InsuranceRetirement Savings Plan with employer matchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Learning and development programs, training, career opportunities, and a highly regarded tuition reimbursement programAn inclusive culture of Employee Resources Groups centered around women, African-Americans, Hispanics, LGBTQ+, Neurodiversity, and Emerging Professionals.A Foundation that is employee-funded with a 2-to-1 match from the company providing STEAM education for minorities from K-12 to college.If this sounds like you and you would like to expand your career with us, apply today!AtkinsRéalis is an equal opportunity, drug-free employer
