Architecture- Registered Architect- Architectural Design- Project ManagementThe Project Architect serves as the team design lead for assigned agency projects and is responsible for overseeing the development of a design, leading the production of the construction documents (plans), and specifications, lead an internal team of design professionals, and ensure project quality. Individuals with the following experience, and a desire to advance their career, with aspirations to continue growing are urged to apply for a confidential discussion.Efficiently balance design projects, team, deadlines, and budgetsResponsible for construction administrationRegular meetings with the contractor and client/ owner on siteSite visits to observe progressWorking with contractors, suppliers, and anyone else responsible for construction project workReviewing submittals and shop drawingsEnsuring that submittals and inspection reports meet the requirements of the construction designKeeping track of materials and costsActing as a liaison between the owner and contractorEnsure that the project is built according to the intent or project requirements outlined in the contract documentsPlan, organize and regulate team workload assignments as neededProvide leadership, mentoring and supervision to appropriate project team i.e. design principles, materials selection, code compliance, drawing & drafting, etc.Lead the preparation of documents by the design team for obtaining required local and state permitsLead the development of clear and complete drawings and specificationsQualifications:A professional degree in architecture from an accredited institutionApproximately seven (7) or more years of hands-on experience with design and documentationRegistered Architect / Licensed Architect (RA) is requiredAbility to lead and guide the production of construction documentsQA/QCLeadership and mentorship of staff and internal project teamProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, the Microsoft Office SuiteBluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp a plusIn-depth knowledge of industry standards, zoning regulations and building codesAbility to collaborate productively with multidisciplinary team members, consultant groups and stakeholders on a variety of concurrent projectsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to comprehend and flesh out a client’s vision, implementing the factors necessary to achieve project successLEED accreditation a plus, not requiredExperience mentoring, managing, oversight of reportsExcellent communication skills, regularly interacting with clients, colleagues, and senior leadership in a team environmentAttributes sought; analytical, problem-solving, excellent organizational and technical skillsIf you are interested in being considered and further discussion, please send a current copy of your resume to alex@libertyjobs.com***All information & communications are 100% confidential***Key Words:
