As the Director of Front End Technology Development (TD) Procurement Capital, you will be responsible for overseeing the global vision and management of the Technology Development (TD) Capital Equipment team to deliver value through development of category strategies, cost optimization, and strategic supplier relationships. You will commit to meeting category performance goals and optimizing performance by collaborating with internal and external partners to build and complete global category strategies aligned to corporate strategic objectives.You will establish and monitor Category performance metrics and oversee Front End TD metrics to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. You will collaborate with partners to deliver strategic solutions for equipment and spares and enable the “OneVoice” approach to suppliers. You will maintain close interaction with suppliers and internal business partners to ensure category-related needs are addressed while encouraging a customer-centric approach to solve issues, representing Procurement.Be the senior leader in TD Procurement in Japan Hiroshima and lead the Procurement team in collaboration with the Hiroshima TD team for frontier leaning and path finding work. Responsibilities will also include alignment work between the Boise TD team and Japan team with BKM and information sharing to ensure a clear message to suppliers on all Technical and Commercial matters.You will also provide leadership for building and implementing Global Procurement strategies, processes, and policies. Supervise and mentor TD Supplier Managers through collaboration, execution of projects, and development programs. You will also be responsible for conveying corporate business initiatives, providing direction thereof, and driving a clear understanding to line of sight within your team.How To Qualify:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration/Management or Engineering3-5 years' experience in any of the following:High level of business experience and training (MBA or equivalent experience) preferredFamiliarity with technologies related to categoriesCommunication and relationship building skillsMultiple years’ experience in a Global Category Manager type roleExecutive level, strategic mentalityStrong cross-functional skillsDesired >10 years' experience in any of the following: International Business, Semiconductor Business preferredWhat Sets You Apart:
