This position helps build strong partnerships and trust in Welch's Category Management team through strategic and tactical thought leadership, research-based shopper insights, best-in-class analytics, and shelving recommendations. This position will lead a team of Category Management professionals within Walmart and Sam's Club retail accounts with responsibility for all of Welch's categories. This role will partner with Sales to deliver against key business objectives and align category, brand, and customer priorities and goals. This role will report to the Director of Category Management in Concord, MA.Where You'll Work:This role will be based out of our

Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.What You'll Do:Develop and maintain key business relationships with Walmart and Sam's Club to position Welch's as an indispensable partner for category management needs.Lead as the Category Advisor for the shelf-stable multi-serve juice category at Walmart and Sam's Club.Leverage syndicated data (Luminate, Circana/IRI) to provide actionable insights that help retailer merchants make informed decisions.Lead the annual relay process, including planogram creation and submission.Serve as the subject matter expert for the shelf-stable juice, refrigerated juice, and spreads categories, offering thought leadership and recommendations to Walmart and Sam's Club.Mine consumer, shopper, and category insights from cross-functional teams to deliver actionable recommendations to Walmart and Sam's Club.Generate regular and ad-hoc reporting to identify opportunities and provide insights that drive profitable category growth.Develop tools, analytics, and sales decks to support the sales team in achieving annual objectives and driving long-term, sustainable growth.Track and report on national DSMP goals (distribution, shelving, merchandising, pricing) and communicate performance against these goals.Analyze risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.Evaluate pricing and promotional performance using trade efficiency knowledge, ensuring adherence to trade guidelines.Create strong POG recommendations aligned with Walmart and Sam's Club merchant teams' strategic direction and operational efficiency.Develop and deliver compelling presentations that clearly communicate opportunities and issues, including ad-hoc projects, category reviews, and monthly scorecarding for the account team and retailer.Who You Are:Leads a team of motivated and skilled individuals.Understands the needs of the customer and consumer by using technology, data and insights.Makes decisions that positively impact the current and future state of the business.Holds a growth mindset with ability to set and meet stretch goals, anticipates and creates plans to overcome obstacles.Develops meaningful relationships and collaborates across departments.Engages in healthy dialogue and makes decisions with Walmart's, Sam's Club's and Welch's best interest in mind.Trains and develops the team to help develop them.Continuously challenges the status quo and seeks ways to improve and develop.What You'll Need:A Bachelor's Degree is required.A minimum of 10 years of CPG experience, with a focus on category management, business analytics and/or shopper insights. Direct sales experience is a plus but not required.Experience cultivating Category Management and Insights into actionable, quantifiable results.Experience with Circana/IRI or Nielsen syndicated data, consumer panel data to help create sales stories and understand the customer. Experience with other data tools, especially Luminate and Madrid are a plus.Understanding of the differences that make up Grocery, Drug, CStore, Mass, Club, Value, Food Service, Vending and DSD classes of trade.
