JOB DETAILS:RATIOS: Ratios 2:1 (can flex up to 3:1 in high census and nurse must be comfortable with this if needed). PATIENT DIAGNOSES: We are a comprehensive stroke center. Patient population: strokes (ischemic, hemorrhagic [SAH]), SDH, craniotomies, carotid stents, carotid endarterectomies, aneurysm coiling/clipping, seizures, Depth electrodes, myasthenia gravis. Drains used: EVDs, LDs, hemovacs, Camino (ICP monitoring)

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Comprehensive Stroke Center

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: EVD, Lumbar Drains, Camino, LICOX, NICOM and Arctic Sun.

UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24.0 Hours; 2 days or 2 nights
