Senior Data Integration Engineer
Duties: Troubleshoot and resolve project issues and challenges in a hands-on environment. Communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and staff members. Update/ maintain standard interface templates to import the customer's data into multiple test and production databases. Assist with customer with data field mapping of standard data acquisition specifications. Utilize various data automation, mining, and integration tools. Investigate and troubleshoot complex data integration problems/issues and assist in resolving critical customer problems. Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive higher quality and productivity within data integration (e.g. process changes, tools, operating mechanisms). Perform quality assurance on the interface custom/standardized code and message transformation results. Assist with managing all implementation related technical tasks. This includes leading technical kickoff meetings, hosting conference calls, developing custom interfaces, and escalating issues & delays as appropriate. Facilitate and gather member technical project requirements including documentation of those requirements were applicable. Support testing and performance optimization of member developed content during the implementation phase. Manage project plan for technical workstream that entail all details of the technical implementation that include timelines; tasks; and resources. Assist in any problem resolution and manage issue logs. Assure deliverables are provided as scheduled to the overall program lead who provides the contractual report out. Communicate any changes in project plans and timelines. Communicate with customers and internal team on interface analysis and issue resolution. Assist customer support team with highly complex cases to provide solutions to complex data problems. Work with specialized support team members on custom GL Conversions as the project lead; conversion coding; lead weekly calls with client during project in process. #LI-DNI Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field (or its foreign equivalent) plus 4 years of experience in Job offered or related occupations. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following: General networking infrastructure and troubleshooting hardware/application issues; Project Lead on multiple software implementation projects; Working with large scale enterprise software solutions; Data Warehouse and ETL tools; Database architecture, system environments, SQL, and other data integration tools to effectively perform role. Telecommuting (remote work) is permitted. 40 hours/week.
