Manufacturing Shift Lead: night shift (8p-8a) $28.50Who we are looking for:We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Shift Lead to be based out of Fort Mill, SC. Reporting to the Production Manager this person will be responsible for supervision of an assigned crew and make sure that the PVC pipe is manufactured on schedule and in within the right specifications.What you'll do:Ensure PVC pipe is manufactured per the production scheduleConfirm that all products meet specification and that all required quality tests are performedExamine operator paperwork to ensure that it is complete and correctReview QC/QA forms to confirm that they have been completed accurately and correctlyInspect the integrity and performance of the production systemsRecruit, train, and develop crew membersOptimize utilization of employees and equipmentUnderstand computerized systems associated with the extrusion, control, and printing technologies used in our facility.Obtain production efficiencies by a developing a culture of continuous improvementPromote a safe working environment and enforce safety rules and proceduresAll other assigned duties
What you'll bring:Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalentPrevious PVC Manufacturing experience, highly preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communications skillsGood understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculationsPrevious managerial experience, preferredHigh attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organizationExcellent written and verbal skillsTimekeeping and scheduling experienceMust be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical mannerMust be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environmentAble to lift 50 pounds unassistedAll associates must embrace and foster an environment that supports our core values of Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork and Accountability.
