We assess candidates for fit and optimize the people they have now, to strengthen their organization.Responsibilities:We are searching for a leader of our Health & Life Science executive and professional search practice to personally drive the growth of our North American search business. The VP is responsible for Business Development through researching and generating sales leads. Client Account Management by managing external communication with current and potential clients, designing and presenting solutions, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ultimately driving new business revenue for TSP. You will also be a key member of the TSP leadership team.Responsibilities: Day-to-dayLead TSP’s executive search practice in North AmericaWork with TSP & Syneos Health leadership to set growth strategy for the health and life science search practice.Research main points-of-contact at target organizations and maintain updated target list.Keep CRM up to date with all relevant sales activitiesDevelop proposals and presentations for potential clients.Frequent travel to meet face-to-face with prospects (25 - 30%).Close collaboration with TSP and Syneos Health business development teams and other TSP practice leadersProvide leadership to a team of TSP search professionalsThis position is 90% focused on new business development with the other 10% spent providing leadership to a team of search directors.Personal competency:Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving high revenue targetsAbility to build and maintain strong client relationshipsStrong business development and sales acumenTakes the reigns and rallies others around themStrong negotiatorEnsures tasks get completed at the right level, delegates effectively, and is accountable for personal and results / goalsValues attention to detail at an appropriate level to ensure accuracy. At times, we take into consideration transferable skills from previous roles.Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a field related to marketing, business, human resources or life science related field15+ years experience in executive search or a commercial executive or CHRO looking to leverage his/her relationships in a new careerExtensive network of life science executivesLine Management experienceDemonstrable evidence of growing a business and bringing in new revenueKnowledge of the life science industryExperience with both consultative and transactional salesDemonstrable written and oral communication skillsTeam player that is comfortable selling alongside other TSP practice leadersAbility to work effectively with all levels of the organizationAbility to work independently.The annual base salary for this position ranges from 130 - 175K with uncapped incentive based on revenue delivered. Expected total compensation of 350 - 500K+. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
