About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director of Development to lead and implement fundraising strategies that support its mission to accelerate health equity globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing detailed annual fundraising plans, driving fundraising strategy in partnership with senior leadership, and overseeing grant submission strategies. This role requires a thought partner who can create and expand development campaigns, events, and donor pipelines. The Director of Development will also be accountable for donor cultivation and stewardship, building and growing relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations, and ensuring that the organization's impact is effectively communicated to a wide donor audience. Applicants for the Director of Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's or relevant certification preferred) and at least 10 years' of experience in fundraising within the global health nonprofit sector. The role demands a proven track record of closing five- and six-figure gifts, significant nonprofit marketing experience, and advanced skills in donor cultivation and project management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the company's mission, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to travel as needed. A high level of attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative, servant leadership style are essential. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
